I have downloaded the current version, opened in safe mode, and determined that the platform closes shortly after connecting to the data feed without any chartbooks open. I turned off my antivirus, firewall, VPN etc. and the application will not remain open. Worked fine last Friday, May 2nd without any changes or upgrades. I tried the prerelease version also and it still will not stay open. What else should be done?

Can you please start in Safe Mode and do the following:
- Once the program comes up, select "File >> Disconnect" to stop from connecting to CQG.
- Select "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings".
- Make sure you are on the "Main Settings" tab and then set "Current Selected Service" to "SC Data".
- Select OK to close that window.
- Select Yes to the popup that asks if you want to change the symbols.

Let us know if you have a problem with the system crashing in this situation.

I tried running SC Data and it didn't crash. I went back to CQG and it is working now. Are users required to log in occasionally to SC data if using an external data source?

Sierra Chart is very reliable software and you should never have a problem like this.

You are not required to do this:

Refer to help topic 17:

If you are using OpenGL, disable that.:
Graphics Settings: Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other)

We really do not know what the issue is in your case. You should never have a problem like this. Especially when running in Safe Mode.
