Ask Volume and Bid Volume Studies both missing data and options

Hi SUpport I opened my ES chart today and the Ask Volume and Bid Volume Studies are both missing chart data and study options, BUT the NQ chart which is showing the chart bars data but not the study options... (Pics attached so you can see the issue) I haven't made any changes to these charts since these issues have arisen. I've just updated to the current SC version before posting this... Can you sort this out please? Many Thx |

The "Ask Volume" and "Bid Volume" studies do not have any Inputs. So there is nothing missing in this case. Refer to the following: Ask Volume Bid Volume For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

John Please see both pics I uploaded..you will see that NQ is still showing data in the bid vol, ask vol chart region...even though the settings are exactly the same as ES, but both symbols studies are showing NO OPTIONS to even enter an input in the settings page! Also, I havent changed these studies recently....i just opened the charts and the ES data was not showing on the chart, but the NQ data was showing...but both studies show nothing on the settings page! |

There are no Inputs for these studies, so what you are seeing in terms of the settings is correct.

Sorry,...I was referring to the subgraphs page which has the settings! In any case, the ES and NQ chart have the same subgraphs setting but the ES data on the chart has disappeared... as you can see! If there are no inputs then I cant change anything there even if i wanted to, so the data should appear on the chart along as the bar widths are wide enough to be seen, correct? Here is a previous screenshot of ES where the ask vol and bid vol are showing fine (in blue circle)...so it has previously been working fine!

We are not certain what you are trying to state with regards to the Study Settings window. Everything looks fine on those windows. We do not know why you are not getting any data for the ES showing. There is not any reason we can think of for this to not be working. Please get us your Message Log by following these instructions (note that we only need the log if the data does not show when you add the study): Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks". Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only. Add the study that is giving you an issue to this chart. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases) We will then determine what the problem is. With the Study settings window I was simply showing you that everything is setup up fine, thats all. I agree there is no reason I am not getting that data when all the rest of the chart and data is fine! I will do the test later and get back to you . thanks! |

Hi John I did the test and the study worked fine, so I troubleshooted every thing and found the issue! I must have mistakenly dragged the study off its scale by accident, so it was showing the area of the scale where there was no data....I simply reset the scale and saw the data.... was driving me mad there was no data showing there! Thanks anyway |
