Hi,

As per the title, I live in South Africa. I am using Denali data, but it sometimes has a big delay "around 500 - 900ms" when compared to Rithmic. Is there a specific server I presume in Europe that you can recommend?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

As far as I can see ds24.sierracharts.com - 149.11.224.18 gives me the best ping, but when I try to connect to it kicks me off every 3 seconds with this error:
2024-09-05 18:07:35.471 | Denali Data Feed | Logon error received from server: Data service (sc_exchange2.datafeed) is disabled or unsupported. A software update may be necessary.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply.
I am not getting any data from that server, is there a specific port I should be using?

Thank you in advance.

No there is no specific port to use. Do not specify the port number.

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks".

Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

We will then determine what the problem is.
