I am trying to have a data box or bubble that sits on a selected chart which indicates the following:

UVOL-DVOL expressed as a ratio and displayed as a text box only on a chart.

I have tried the text display for a study option but there is no study for UVOL-DVOL or NVOL.

Not sure if my best option is UVOL minus DVOL then have that result expressed as a ratio or NVOL alone would do that and if so how do I go about having this data in a text display?

I have seen this done in both TOS and Sierrachart so I know it can be done...I've included an example to illustrate the desired result.

To start, we are not sure exactly what equation you are wanting to use for this, so all we can do is point you to the Market Statistics data we have so you can determine what you need from that:
Sierra Chart Market Statistics: Symbols

Then refer to the Arithmetic Studies to put together the data as you want it to get a final number:
Using the Basic Arithmetic Studies

And finally, you would use the "Text Display for Study" to actually put the information on the chart as you are wanting it. Note that you will have to add Prefix or Suffix text as needed. For instance to get the ":1 NYSE" where the data will give you the front number. Refer to the following:
Text Display For Study
