Error downloading historical intraday data, permission denied

Hello Support,

I am missing all chart data on ESM3 since yesterday's closing up till past 1 hour. Reload data/reconnection/delete and reload all result in the following message "Download Failed. Error downloading historical intraday data for ESM3.CME, permission denied".
Please advise. Thanks

Hello John,

The page you referred me to does not solve an issue. I can connect to Rithmic through their data center, all my Sierra Chartbooks open fine, the problem is that all the data for ES from the 10th of March up till today is missing (was fine yesterday evening). VIX is showing without issues at the same time. Trying to reload data, Im getting this red box message: "Download Failed. Error downloading historical intraday data for ESM3.CME. permission denied".

I passed that to Rithmic support, who ping ponged me back to you. This is the message:
"unfortunately we cannot provide any further support for other trading platforms, so I'd kindly request you to reach out to Sierra Chart support in order to solve the problem."

We do apologize for Rithmic's response, but the error message you are getting is from Rithmic. If you look in your Message Log, you will find the error in there and you will see that it is prefaced with the fact that it is from Rithmic.

We just have some information to help people when they get that error. The most likely is that your password for your data is too long.

In order to prove our point, remove the login options on the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings for the data fields for the Rithmic setup on that page. When you do so, you will no longer get that Permission Denied message, but you will not get any data either, as you are only setup to get data for the CFE exchange from us.
