symbol rollover alert

Hi, All my charts are showing SYMBOL ROLLOVER ALERT and even after changing the auto rollover setting in CHART SETTINGS that I don't want rollover , these wouldn't go away. Screen Shot attached. Please advice how to make them disappear....thanks |

That would be correct based upon the official rollover rules. To prevent this, set this particular setting for example to 3: General Settings Window: Additional Days to Add to Rollover Date for Chart and Quote Board Rollovers (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Charts) And then you need to reload the charts with this command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Reload All Charts Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi, I followed your instructions.....changing/adding more days and then edit...reload command...still all the alerts are there.....screen shot attached...tks |

You have the word [Volume] showing at the beginning of the rollover message, which means that you are setup to rollover based on Volume, not date. In addition to what you have done above, you would also want to set the option for Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Symbol >> Detect Rollover of Current Futures Contracts Based on Real Time Volume to No. Refer to the information here: General Settings Window: Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Symbol) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
