Sorry, but we are not sure whether you are wanting the VIX Index or the E-Mini S&P 500 futures. The VIX Index is available through the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and activating the CBOE Indices exchange. Refer to the Setup Instructions for this here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions The E-Mini S&P 500 is available through the Denali Exchange Data Feed and activating the appropriate exchange for the CME. Just keep in mind that the CME Group requires that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to qualify for the Non-Professional exchange fees. You do have active the CBOE Futures exchange with the Denali Exchange Data Feed, which does provide the volatility index futures. You can access those symbols through File >> Find Symbol >> Futures-CFE.
