Hi, so although I was able to find a couple of Preferred Funds listed under the NYSE(where it trades), the one I'm interested in Crestwood Equity Partners Preferred wasn't shown. On Ameritrade the symbol is CEQPp but every platform has different ways of displaying preferred stock symbols. Again, this isn't a regular stock symbol like for this one it's CEQP..it's the lower case p that indicates it's a preferred stock symbol. If you don't have it presently can I request it being added? TIA |

I'm trying to follow this thread and don't see how preferred symbology works. There are also warrants and other asset types that should come with the US stock data. I can't seem to get a symbol list for that from sierra chart. Please advise

We do not know the symbol format. You actually have to search for the symbols to find what you need: File Menu: Searching for Stock Symbols For example perform a search for the symbol BAC and you will see the preferred stocks listed for it. You actually have to search for the symbols to find what you need:
File Menu: Searching for Stock Symbols I had done this in chart settings. The confusion came because the search functionality only showed up under Consolidated Tape(Delayed/Realtime) option but there was another option above it that said Consolidated Tape but had no search feature. Not sure why I have the 2. Anyway I assumed the search feature didn’t exist when I didn’t see it in the first one |
