hello, i want to move the chart vertically simply as i can move it horizontal with the "hand" tool (the hand tool doesn't let me move it up and down (as "interactive scale move")) regards |

I have done all these instructions, all vertical scaling is activated on my charts. Everything moves horiztontally for my 15 second and 5 min candle chart. However, for my 1m and 5m FOOTPRINT, it only moves horizontally. I double checked, and all settings are the same for all charts.....

Are you using the "Hand" tool to move the chart or are you using the scales? For the "Hand" tool, have you checked the following setting and ensureed it is set to "Yes": Chart Drawing Tools: Support Vertical Scaling/Movement With Hand Tool (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Tool Options) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Apologies, I am using the crosshair function to target a specific price and time. My footprint 1m and 5m only moves horizontally but not vertically ... using the crosshairs function |

If you have the tool selection as "Chart Values/Crosshairs", then there is no ability to move the chart in any direction with the pointer. You can use the scroll wheel (if you have one on your pointing device), but if you click and drag, there will not be any movement. Again, we wonder if you are using the "Hand" tool and have the crosshairs set to display when it is being used or if you are selecting in the scale and moving up and down within there. We need to know exaactly what tool selection you have and where you are pointing and moving. Correct. I am using chart values/crosshair. I am not looking to click or drag. I am simply hovering my crosshair over a 5 minute candlestick bar. All charts will move to the price that I am hovering over. However with the footprint. The charts only move horizontally (in time) but not in price (vertically) so if I am hovering over a price that is 300 points lower. My 15 second chart and my 5 minute chart will instantly pan over to that area. My footprint is stuck at the same vertical price. But has moved horizontally to the time that I am hovering over.

It sounds like you are using the "Global Cursor" along with "Synchronize Charts". So that where the cursor is located in one chart, the other charts will move to that same location in time. Those controls do not adjust the chart vertically. If the charts are changing vertically, then this is simply due to the Scale Settings. Most likely, you have your time-based charts set to a scale of "Automatic", so when the bars move, the vertical adjustment occurs automatically. But for your Numbers Bars chart, you must have it set to another option, such that it is not automatically scaling.
