Some of my monthly/weekly continuous charts are missing a lot of data. Any ideas why? Big gap from 2004-2017.
No probs on ags & live stock.
Thanks! ~J

weird, I've tried the ideas listed. I open the data and see it's there but the chart isn't loading it. It skips certain dates and the data page doesn't go back further than 2012. The contracts.dly don't download to the folder..
Any ideas? Thanks! ~J

You are over complicating this. Also use a more reasonable starting date for now of 2010.

Follow through the procedure here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#ReDownloading

If there still is missing data, follow the instructions here to post an image of the chart showing that:

To understand the Date Range in File field, refer to:

Notice (attached images) some of the symbols do work properly like all the grains. I duplicated the chart and change the symbol, try and reload data, nothing helps.
For example I try and get all the dly data from like CL and CP. Doesn't load into the chart. Kinda seems like a bug to me.

There is definitely no bug.

It seems as though you may have hit the daily historical data download limit. Refer to:
Sierra Chart Historical Data Service: Daily Data Download Limit

Try re-downloading the data again following these instructions here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#ReDownloadingContinuousFuturesContractData

Also refer to:

If you have gone over the daily data download limit, then you need to wait until tomorrow to re-download the data.

But once you do following the instructions, you definitely should not have any trouble and the chart data will be complete.

I kinda gave up on this but I'd still really like to get this to work. I was trying to figure it out with Johnny from AMP so I wanted to revisit the thread here.
I'll take a chart like Soybeans that gives me 15 years of data and then duplicate the chart and put Crude in there and the data is missing.
"ERROR: Date not found"
I included an image with the error.
It's not a daily data limit.
It does it on the Metals and Energy instruments.
Thanks! ~J
