Hi, I just signed up for a trial and am having troubles with your numbers bars. The volume traded per price inside the bar isn't correct. I used the SC trial feed and compared the values with a CQG Continuum feed on Ninja. Sierra shows different values which just can't be correct. At example, market makes a low, only 22 contracts trade at the bid and then price goes back up. Sierra shows 21 contracts traded at the bid and 6 contracts at the offer. At the same price. Suggesting the market went offer at that price which it never did. Also sometimes a 2 range bar expands over 4 prices while duplicating the values from the high/low. I've attached some screenshots on which I highlighted the bars. It's a Bund futures chart. Regards |

Apparently you did not follow the instructions on the Numbers Bars documentation page and did not set Sierra Chart for a tick by tick data configuration: Tick by Tick Data Configuration Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi Executor, You just need to adjust your vertical scale so it is less compressed. |

Refer to the documentation here for scaling Numbers Bars: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/NumbersBars.php#Scaling Based upon what we see in that chart image,, the first thing we recommend you do is select Chart >> Reset Scales. And use an Automatic Scale Range: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Scaling.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
