Dear Support Team, having a Sierra Chart account and having the Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed activated I experience a lot of lost connections. On evaluating I realized that probably the Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed does not arrive in this particular Sierra Chart installation provided by TransAct. The 2 indications are ongoing lost connections and the missing [M] in the chart header. "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" is enabled, disconnecting and reconnecting does not bring up any indication for beeing supported by the Sierra Chart data feed. Connection Type is "Live", Port 1869 is used, Timestamp Using Local Computer Clock is set to "False". Please refer to the attached screenshot of chart and Data/Trade Service settings. What am I missing? Any suggestion to solve the problem? Thank you very much, Best, Chris |

You have your own Sierra Chart account with the Market Data Feed Enabled, but you are currently using the Transact provided Sierra Chart Account. You will need to download Sierra Chart, and use your directly paid for Sierra Chart Account Name. 1. Download Sierra Chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartSetupNoCLR.exe 2. Install it, and use the exact account that you used to post to this Board. 3. Follow the Transact setup instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TransAct.php#SetupInstructions 4. Continue with Step #11 here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions Sierra Chart Support Date Time Of Last Edit: 2016-03-03 17:24:14

I am experiencing exactly the same situation using the same setup. No [M] when connected through TransACT and enabled for the SC data feed. All the troubleshooting steps have been followed including resetting symbol settings. I am however seeing >10 levels of market depth making me think that I am connected to the SC feed. Is this an issue of [M] display or an issue of connection?
