On 2026-10-02 at 04:42:53 ET, the Denali Data Feed connection dropped. The log shows DTC socket error 10054, then "no activity on the network socket for 19m 16s". The reconnect attempt failed with "10051: A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network", followed by "Data feed disconnected. Will reconnect in 3 seconds". After that, the Message Log shows no further reconnect attempts or reconnections for the rest of the day. The feed stayed down through the whole US session, and no real-time data reached my charts. During that time the IB trade service reconnected at 04:45, 08:15 and 17:06 ET. Every historical download it triggered reported "Historical data for X is delayed because connection to main data feed is not present". Related: on 2026-10-01 between 00:35 and 00:36 ET, Denali failed to reconnect 39 times ("unable to resolve domain name", then "unreachable host"). It did recover on that occasion. My suspect is internet dropped at that time. IB reconnected after internet came back, but Denali didn't, and never made another reconnect attempt 04:42:56: the reconnect failed with "unreachable network", meaning my PC had no route to the internet at that moment. 04:45:29: IB came back with "connectivity restored", so IB lost its connection to IBKR's servers in the same window. This is due to an Internet connectivity issue and name resolution problem, somewhere on your side or somewhere on the Internet. Not from the Sierra Chart side. You should never have had this problem: After that, the Message Log shows no further reconnect attempts or reconnections for the rest of the day. The feed stayed down through the whole US session, and no real-time data reached my charts.
