Rithmic Data Freezes Chart

Hello Whenever I connect through rithmic on sierra chart the chart completely freezes. I have tried connecting from two different instances, the problem is the same. The other data feed through my live broker is working just fine. This has happened on two different prop firms. What should I do to fix this? Thank you!

Are you getting an error when you connect to Rithmic? In particular, are you getting an "Permission Denied" error? If so, then refer to the following: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Permission Denied Resolution Procedure As noted in the above, you are setup to get data from our Denali Exchnage Data Feed, so you should have the "Market Data" and "Historical Data" Username/Password fields blank in the "Data/Trade Service Settings". This is the most common reason for the Permission Denied error, but there are others as noted in that link. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

There are no visible errors in the message log, I have ran it through with AI.

Please get us your Message Log by following these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks". Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about one symbol only. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". This is very strange. On a naked chart it works, but on my configured charts it does not. I think it has something to do with historical data download skipped. When I follow these steps that you mentioned, I get live data. This is the message log. The one issue we see is that you have the wrong symbols for your charts. They are setup to use the Teton CME Routing symbols and not Rithmic. With your chartbooks open, select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" to update the symbols to what is needed for Rithmic. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing
