Hi support My Chart data is always missing for the period when I havent opened the CBook for a few days/weeks... This never used to happen but now happens all the time. When I try all the reload, recalculate and 'delete all and download data' options, they still dont fill the missing data. I only see the data for the time the CBook is actually open. I've also tried deleting the scid file for the symbol. My historical data is set to go back 30 days for efficiency and storage saving. I've read some similar threads and still can't update the missing data. See screenshot attached of issue. Thx |

For some reason, that installation of Sierra Chart that you have connected to Rithmic has the option for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" set to "No". This means that you are getting your data from Rithmic in this case, not from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, which is why you are having the issue you are. Rithmic has a lack of historical data, so what you are seeing is normal for Rithmic. Is there a reason why you have the above setting set to "No" in this case? You are setup to get data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed to two different computers simultaneously. Is this installation running on a third computer? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes John thats exactly it! I have 2 other versions of SC running using Denali/Teton, so I have to use Rithmic for this third instance. I even tried to DL all the data using Denali then switch back, but when you translate symbols then the data goes back to Rithmic with the gaps. SO I'd have to buy another complete SC package to get the denali feed on a third indstyallation right? |
