Today, 5/28/26, at approximately 10:13:41 there was a rush of data on a piece of Iran news. It wasn't an enormous rush, but it was a flush of data. One of my charts froze. I don't normally have this issue. Also, my other charts seemed fine. I'm not running a lot of load-consuming studies, and my machine is more than adequate. The market I was watching was the NQ, and it is set to trade the MNQ.

I have two separate instances of SC running. One of those utilizes a sub instance. That instance kept running fine.

My other instance, the instance that froze, only has two charts.

So I pulled the message log up and scrolled back to that time frame and what I see is that at 10:13:41.550 is "Socket gracefully closed by remote side". There's a string of these "close" messages during the timeframe my chart was locked, along with "Denali Data Feed | Disconnected from Server".

Can you tell me why this might have happened?

The first items of note in your log are issues with the "Domain Name Resolution" (DNS), as your computer could not find the correct servers. This is shown in lines like the following:
2026-05-27 03:56:45.642 | Error getting address info for futurestrading16.sierracharts.com. Windows error code 11001: No such host is known.

Refer to the following regarding this:

The next item we see related to the time of 10:13:41 is the following:
2026-05-28 10:13:41.761 | Denali Data Feed | Disconnected from the server.

So there was a disconnection at that time, but there is no specific reason given. The system then reconnected 3 seconds later and everything is fine.

Most likely this was caused by a general Internet "Hiccough", where you lost connection to our server, and then when it reconnected everything was fine.

But we really do not know for sure what occurred. We do not see any issues with our servers at that time.

Thanks for taking a look. I'll just assume the second item was a one-off.

We did get one other report of an error at the exact same time (assuming you are both referring to the same time zone). So there may have been an issue. We brought this up with Engineering, and they state that there was something that occurred with the CME around that time. We do not have any additional information. And, as we stated, the system automatically reconnected and backfilled the data, so at worst you had a 3 second stoppage.
