Thank you John.

I appreciate the reply from engineering, and want to be clear that although I was very interested in knowing what happened, today's issue did not affect me monetarily. And I personally would categorize the events as one of those life events that can happen in trading.

Just a few points I'd add:
I do think an answer from the ISP is in order. While it does appear SC may have implemented one slight change to prevent some minor packet loss, it seems to me your redundancies and failovers did what they are designed to do. And perhaps the ISP issue, if the engineers are correct, was a one-off issue we're not likely to see again, but it would be nice to know.

Also, I'm sure the engineers didn't intend to minimize any issues end users may have experienced during this, but saying "Only about half of the users receiving CME data." and that " not " all users.... doesn't make me feel great when I'm one of the half that was affected.

Thanks again John, and thanks to the engineers for investigating and letting us know.
