Hi, i have a chartbook with many different intraday futures charts in it, some i plan to use date based rollover, some i plan to use volume based rollover, i saw doc that i better perform rollover manually, so for each different futures, no matter they use date or volume based rollover (rollover at the Session Start Time), is it possible that before the exactly rollover date/bar, i can have at least half of day notice (for both date and volume based rollover futures) on chart that says the futures needs to be rollover at next Session Start Time, then i can manually rollover during the daily break or the start of next session for that futures? and is it possible to access that half-day rollover notice via ACSIL in study?

As long as you have the option for "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol" set to "No", then you are notified when it is time to rollover. When you actually perform the rollover is up to you. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

Keep in mind that the notice of when to rollover is determined based on the following setting:
General Settings Window: Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Symbol)

The choice of what Continuous Contract you are using does not determine when the current contract rolls over - that only affects the previous contracts and how they are tied together to form the Continuous Contract chart.

thx, so if i set no to Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol, i will get notice for both date and volume rollover futures, and at least few hours( i dont want it to be too ealrly, like notice me no more than 1 day before needed ) before my set rollover time at next session start or during daily break? is that notice blue color, unlike detect volume notice? and when i manually rollover, the chart will just reload right?

The notice for the rollover will show when it is time for the rollover per the information we gave previously.

The color of the notice for rollover is yellow (by default).

When you rollover, you will be prompted for the contract to rollover to, along with a few other options. Refer to the following:
Changing to a New Futures Contract Month

After you select OK on that window, your chart will reload, along with all other charts that were using the same previous symbol.

All the studies stay on the chart and are recalculated for the new data.
