As long as you have the option for "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol" set to "No", then you are notified when it is time to rollover. When you actually perform the rollover is up to you. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu) Keep in mind that the notice of when to rollover is determined based on the following setting: General Settings Window: Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Symbol) The choice of what Continuous Contract you are using does not determine when the current contract rolls over - that only affects the previous contracts and how they are tied together to form the Continuous Contract chart.
