This is primarily for SC users with a funded account through EdgeClear, but I'd be interested in hearing from AMP users as well. Just wondering if any of you are able to get accurate values in your Trade Account Monitor window for Margin Requirement and DailyNetP/L. My Trade Account Monitor settings under Manage >> Edit Trade Account are not correct. I trade micro ES and my FCM is Phillip Capital. I have 3 inconsistencies which are skewing my numbers: . 1) The margin set by CME is currently 2666.40, but under the [Margin] tab, Account Margin (Read Only) is set to 100.00USD. Thus, the MarginRequirement column value is only 100.00 per micro contract I have in an open position (instead of initial margin x required margin). . 2) Even though EdgeClear confirmed my account margin rate has been adjusted from the default of 25% down to 10%, under [Main] >> Use Percent of Required Margin (%), the value is still 25. Again, not reflected in the MarginRequirement column. . 3) Under [Symbol Commissions], there are no symbols listed, so in the Trade Account Monitor window, my DailyNetP/L value is always the same as DailyProfit/Loss, rather than including commissions/fees. As an aside, I entered the round trip value in Symbol Settings, so the Net P/L value in my Trade Activity Log is correct. If I try to change/update any of these values in the Manage >> Edit Trade Account dialog window and then click the 'Commit' button, I get an error message that says "Server error: Operation not allowed", which is not surprising, since these values are supposed to come from the broker/clearing firm. When I emailed EdgeClear, they said their Platforms Team is unable to change these values on their end, which is disappointing. My question to you all is whether your account setting values are correct and it's just me, or if this something that EdgeClear/Phillip Capital users just deal with and ignore? Would my experience change with Plus500? Do AMP users have similar issues? Fortunately I am not having to rely on these for Risk Management, but it would be nice to have correct values displayed during the trading session. p.s. I realize this is a problem with the broker/clearing firm and not with Sierra Chart, so I'm not expecting SC Support/Engineering to provide a solution. |
