Hello, i am experiencing a very big drop in performance...its a dealbreaker. Did you change anything in the background and i have to recompile all my custom indicators? I am asking this, because i cant think of anything else. I disabled opengl and the new sc internal timer....nothing improved. i have a seperate main instance as well. i use all your recomantations regarding performance, including disableding hyper threating and max system performance in windows. I can ashure you, thats not the problem. Running on AMD9700X and it was still fine some days ago. Version is prerelease 2886. EDIT: I am back on oldest possible version 2867 and its a blast....everything is fluid. @SC you messed something up... Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-02-27 12:41:47

One thing to check is the timer related settings. Refer to these settings: General Settings Window: Chart Update Interval (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Update Intervals) General Settings Window: Timer Management Enable (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Update Intervals) General Settings Window: Minimum Delay Between Chart Updates in Milliseconds (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Update Intervals) You may want to switch to OS timers. I used the OS timer with your latest build 2882 and newer already...it didnt solve anything. With v2867 i use the newly implemeted SC timer management on lowest possible setting: 10ms with no issues at all: the system is cruising along below 10% for all SC instances combined. On v2882 the responce time between clicking on the menu bar and the menu showing up is 6sec!!! The cpu usage goes up from average 9-8% to 28-30%...everything is the same, except the SC version. SC gets so unresponsive and sluggish...its mind blowing. I know, this doesnt help you and if i could, i would tell you the exact reasons...but i cant. All i can is letting you know, the difference in performance comes from SC versions. I fear the day, when i have to switch to higher versions and that will break the performance for me again. EDIT: i tried out all available versions and the problem starts with v2873...so i am forced to stay at v2871. EDIT2: i did run v2882 with OS TIMER in SAFE MODE....sluggish as hell. Trust me, something is broken. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-02-27 18:28:59
