I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. My numbers bars is not correctly calculating values and also incorrectly painting backgrounds. For example, circled in black, I have selected the background coloring method to be “Diagonal Ask/Bid Vol Difference Dominant Side Actual” The color for my column range up are all set to green and range down is red. So why is what I circled in black being painted red? Positive delta of 296 painted red. 2nd part is it is miscalculating values. Highlighted in blue. I have the text setting to display Ask/Bid Vol Difference Diagonal Dominant Side. 259 sellers into 225 buyers and it prints “0”. I am confused if maybe I’m doing something wrong. I am trying to set a volume profile with the Text to be diagonal dominant delta and the coloring method to correlate with delta. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-02-19 08:07:46

It is correctly doing what that particular coloring choice is setup to do. The calculations are defined at the following link for the background coloring of "Based On Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol - Actual": Numbers Bars: Background Coloring Based on Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol Difference - Actual In particular, the section that defines how the comparison is done when both the Bid and Ask sides are dominant - in this case it compares the Bid to the Ask at the same level, not the diagonal comparisons. You should use the background coloring of "Based on Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol Difference - Actual" to get what you are wanting. As to the 0, that is occurring as neither diagonal side is dominant. The bid is 125 and compared to 131, the ask is 225 compared to 259.
