I don't like this recent update. The Time and Sales settings look like a step backward, IMO.

Time and Sales used to highlight above the bid and ask; now it just highlights the filtered one that has been entered in the Alerts tab. This settings window is not as user-friendly as before.

We are checking to make sure there are no settings which have been missed or are different. They should all be the same with no changes. There certainly is no functionality changes in the Time and Sales window.

Time and Sales used to highlight above the bid and ask; now it just highlights the filtered one that has been entered in the Alerts tab.
It sounds like what you are referring to are the Time and Sales: color settings which are still supported in the Graphics Settings:

Regarding this:
This settings window is not as user-friendly as before.

I changed the time and sales color below bid trades background to a bright color just to see if its gonna get triggered but it doesnt.

** The chart I'm using here is not using the global graphics setting, just need to mention it because you might say the chart might be using global setting but this photo is not **

Why would you expect to see a trade highlighted, indicating a price below the bid price? There is no information that you are providing, to support this conclusion.

This is not likely to be the case, ever, and technically cannot ever happen. Even though you might sometimes see it, it more has to do with the behavior of the data feed.

Furthermore, there have been absolutely no changes at all, with this functionality.

You keep saying there were no changes. Look at my t/s a few weeks ago. How is this for support? It was being highlighted… with the current update, it's gone. So, if there were no changes at all, why is my t/s not the same after the update?

As far as I can remember, Sierra Chart has this functionality highlighting below bid and above asked. Now it's gone. For someone who uses t/s every day, you will notice this.

Hey @ice,
Maybe it would be helpful to add more columns to show a specific time where you expect highlighting.
I started a NQ replay from 1/16 at 8am pacific and captured this 4 seconds in (see attached)

Did you update to the current version? The only thing highlighting on T/S now is if you set a filter. Without a filter, there is no highlighting. I don't know why Engineering is saying there were no changes; I'm pretty sure there were. My T/S is different now than before. Adding a column to T/S doesn't highlight the 'below bid' and 'above ask' anymore.

The changes to the Time and Sales Settings window, do not change, any of the highlighting or coloring. Those changes simply could not have any affect.

The Time and Sales window was also converted, away from what we call MFC. We are looking at the changes now but do not see any reason for changes with coloring or highlighting. So we need to do some more in-depth testing and see why there would be some change with coloring.

Also in our experience it is not normal in the CME markets to see trades below the Bid or above the Ask. Sometimes that happens but it is not common but maybe it is more common than we realize. But in actuality this really cannot occur.

Also as has been pointed out because we could not see the Bid or Ask price with the last trade price, it was not possible for us to validate that there was anything wrong.

Weird, I am on version 2865 and above ask / below bid highlight works as before, at least on chart replay.

We have confirmed there is no issue here. And nothing has changed. You need to add to the Time and Sales window the Ask price and the Bid price to see what they are at each trade. Otherwise, we cannot help.
