Hello, I use the rectangle and the extending rectangle tool very often with 0 pixel outline, very useful feature. An issue that is only present when the chart window is attached and in a "restored" state (not maximized) The way the outline that appears when I am resizing/moving the drawing behaves is really confusing. It disappears when the cursor doesn't move for a second then reappears partially which makes it hard to see exactly what you're doing. I didn't notice this issue before the new MDI changes. We are not seeing any difference in how the rectangle outline behaves when the chart is either maximized or restored and the "Outline Width" is set to 0. We have also checked to see how it acts in version 2813 (pre MDI changes) and 2858 (current release) and also with and without OpenGL. In all cases, what we see when you are modifying/moving the rectangle, the outline is not visible and all you can see are the two anchor points. This would be expected given that the outline has been set to not display with a width of 0. If you are seeing something else, then can you please get us an image of what you are seeing. Seeing an outline is what I would expect while modifying the rectangle as it makes the process much easier. You can see that when the window is maximized there is no issue at all but when restored as an attached window it starts acting strangely. edit : I tried on an old install of Sierra Chart and it behaves as you mentioned, no outline appears. I actually like to see the outline while modifying but only when it is showing properly Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-01-08 17:12:54
