I have selected the GCG26-COMEX to try to match the corresponding symbol MGC1! in TV. The prices do not agree. QUESTION: How do I get either the current Front Month for GC or MGC? I am connected to SC Data. Thank you |

GC is the 100 ounce Gold contract. MGC is the 10 ounce Gold contract. So prices will not agree. You need to compare GCG26-COMEX with GC1! or GCG2026 in TV and MGCG26-COMEX with MGC1! or MGCG2026 in TV. |

Well, I discovered that I was connected to delayed data, which would explain a lot. But I have thus far been unsuccessful, although following all the instructions I possibly can to connect my Apex Challenge account to Sierra Rhythmic Live Data, real-time data, without getting delayed data. And so I have paid for all sorts of various data packages. I've signed all the agreements. There might be a situation where the system thinks I'm a professional, but I've been unable to resolve that as well. So I am using Sierra to trade another prop firm with no problem, But I can't seem to connect to my Apex account at this point. I've jumped through every hoop I can without success.

Right now, you are only setup to get data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed for the "CBOE Global Indices". You are not setup to get any real-time data from us for the CME Group. As such, you should be getting real-time data from Rithmic when you are connected to your APEX account. On the "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings", do you have the "Market Data" and "Historical Data" Username/Password fields filled in? You need these to get the Rithmic data. Refer to the instructions to connect Sierra Chart to Rithmic: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Note that there is a lack of historical data with Rithmic, so you may not get any historical data. But you should be getting the real-time data when you are connected. If you are having an issue with this, then we need to know exactly what is occurring. If you are getting an error message, then we need to know exactly what it states. -- If you want to get your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, then you need to understand that in order to get the real-time data for the CME Group at the Non-Professional rates, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. And you need to connect your Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Once you understand the above, then you can setup the Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group by following these instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

So what I am reading from your comments is that by having a challenge account from this Apex prop firm that is not yet funded, that would imply that I am unable to use Sierra Chart to trade on this Apex challenge account, even though I am able to do the same on another challenge account using the Futures Desk prop firm.

you can connect your Apex-account to trade thru SC (if it is a Rithmic account) but the data is not the best (very less historical data), the better solution would be to use Denali-data and just route the orders to Apex, but for this you would need a real live-account (to connect) to get real-time data

We never stated this at all. As User135243 states, you can do what you want and use the Rithmic data. Or, if you want to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed, then you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account that you can connect your Sierra Chart software to at least once a month.
