Hi. I just installed Sierra Chart, I haven't bought any package yet. Since I plan on practicing futures trading extensively for many days using the Simulated Trading Service, is it possible for me to buy a package (I was thinking package 10 or 11) and use the Denali data feed to practice on the Simulated Trading Service? Or is Denali data reserved only for real live accounts? The reason why I'm asking this is because I prefer to practice with real-time data instead of delayed. |

Yes you can use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for this. No problem. But you have to consider, CME market data policy when using CME data: What futures trading/brokerage service do you use? For the reason why we ask this question, refer to: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges (Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. CME marketplace is the data that I want to use to practice real-time trading within the Simulated Trading Service. Can I simply open a broker account like EdgeClear or Stage 5, put some money in it, and then I get to use real-time Denali data for my simulations? In other words, after I fund the broker account do I automatically start receiving the real-time Denali data? By the way, how often should I be funding that broker account? I don't plan on using it. I only want to trade in Sierra Chart. |

Yes that will work. A one-time 100 USD into the brokerage account should be just fine.

you can open a $100.-- account with Stage5, but of course you've to contact them before and ask if it is possible, tell them to set-up this account with Teton. Answer to your question in #3: NO you'll not get realtime data just with this account, you've to subscribe to realtime data as well (here at Sierra-Chart) |

In order to get the real-time CME Group data, besides the need for the live, funded, futures trading account, you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. Right now, you are on a Trial, which does not allow for connectivity to Data and Trading services. For information on the packages, refer to the following: Description of Service Packages and Pricing To change to a paid package, follow these instructions: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions Then, you can setup the CME Group data for our Denali Exchange Data Feed at the following link: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* Once you are able to connect to your live, funded, futures trading account, and everything else about is done, then you will be getting the real-time data. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
