After restarting I opened Sierra and I was treated as if I was a new user. All my charts, etc. from several years were gone. Can I recover them? Many thanks for your help. The attached two error messages appeared. (1) There has been a configuration file checksum error. (2) Configuration file (KeyoardShortcuts) error. Not enough data in the configuration file to be valid. |

There are also other backup files in that Backup folder in order to recover other items for which you may have an issue, such as the Keyboard Shortcuts. Follow the same concept as the instructions to recover the Global Configuration File, but apply it to the other files you want.
