I recently switched from CQG to the Teton Order Routing Service and have been experiencing several issues in live trading mode. These problems do not occur in simulated mode, where everything functions as expected. The specific issues I’ve encountered in live trading include: 1. Incorrect Entry Price on Chart - after opening a market position, the chart displays an inaccurate entry level — often far above the actual market price, even in areas where price hasn't recently traded. 2. Disconnected Target and Stop-Loss Levels - the stop-loss and target levels appear visually disconnected from the current price on the chart. As a result, when the stop level is hit by the market, it doesn’t always trigger the exit as expected. 3. Unexpected Position Closures - positions are being closed without clear reason. I suspect the real stop orders are indeed placed in the order book but are not correctly displayed on the chart, which may be causing unexpected closures. These issues are seriously impacting my ability to trade effectively. I did not experience any of these problems while using CQG. Could you please investigate and advise on any possible causes or settings I may need to adjust to resolve this? Thank you for your assistance. |

All of this is because you are not receiving real-time market data. And you are seeing delayed prices. Activate the exchange or exchanges you need here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed The change will go into effect in about three minutes. Thanks for the quick turnaround earlier, and apologies for reaching out again. I’ve activated the CME exchange as advised, but my DOM is still showing delayed data. There’s an orange exclamation mark, and it seems there may be additional details required regarding my trading account. I’m with AMP, and they set me up with Teton just yesterday. In Data/Trade Service Settings, the selected service is: Teton CME Routing. Could you please check on your side if everything has been configured correctly for real-time data? Let me know if anything is missing on my end. Thanks again for your help. |

Everything on your account is fine. Why do you state that your DOM is still showing delayed data? What is the orange exclamation mark you are referring to? The one thing we do want to point out is that you have the "CME With Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" active, so if you are trying to view data for an instrument that is not traded on the CME Exchange (such as Gold (GC) or Crude Oil (CL)) then these data will be delayed streaming data. My market data is definitely delayed. Please see the attached screenshot showing Sierra Chart side-by-side with TradingView (which I know provides delayed data) — both are displaying matching candles. Additionally, the DOM window in Sierra clearly indicates that the data is delayed in the top header. The product I’m referring to is MYM, traded on the CME Exchange. Also, the orange exclamation mark I mentioned appears on the Sierra Chart website under the ‘CME Exchanges’ section. I’ve attached a screenshot of that as well. It seems my trading account is not yet confirmed. Is this something you can assist with, or could you point me in the right direction to get it sorted? Thanks in advance for your help. |

YM and MYM are not traded on the CME exchange. They are on the CBOT exchange, which you do not have active. This is why you are getting delayed streaming data for those symbols. The exclamation marks you are referring to are just informational and will always show on that page, as they are pointing out that you need a trading account. The place to view whether you have properly connected to your live, funded, futures trading account is at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges Your "Verified Till" date needs to be in the future, otherwise you will not be able to get the real-time data for the CME Group.
