Hello,

I was trying to use the chart replay on my SC account, and I can not go any further than the day I have used for replaying.
I went to your webpage and have seen that many issues when replaying comes from using the use start date-time. I double-checked to see if this feature is deactivated, and it was, however I can not use stop or play, or add the wanted date.

When clicking play, it asks everytime whether the the trading data should be cleared, and it goes directly toward re-loading the whole thing.
on the other screenshot, you can see that the 2nd of May has been set as the last day to replay - how do I change this?

I appreciate your feedback

thanks

We see you are using CQG. Do not use CQG data. Follow the instructions below to get data to the current date:

To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions.

Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services".

Press "OK"

And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks in Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service)

You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service.

From what you show in your image, the Replay is running. It may be that at that moment, there was no specific data to display, and if you have not selected the option for "Skip Empty Periods", then the system will continue to run at the same rate, even if there is no data. In other words, 5 minutes of empty data will cause the replay to run and not display anything for that 5 minute period.

As to the "Use Start Date-Time", you need to have the data already existing in the chart for the time you specified. It looks like this is the case, but again we wonder if there was no data at the time of 02:00:00 in that chart. Or perhaps the chart Session Times do not include that time.

Hello,

i am having a problem with the VWAP vindow - whwn I am on the current live day (although delayed) everything is normal and I see all days in that windov
However, when I move on to a chart replay - everything disappears, and the scales somehow stretch and look unnatural.

It seems that I have clicked something when trying to make candles less stretched and I can not get it back.

There is some candle being shown on the far left end, but this is the only one showing
Screenshot added

I would appreciate some advise here

thanks

You are trying to start the replay on January 3, 2025 at 09:30:00. Most likely, you do not have data in your chart going back that far, in which case the system is starting at whereever you have data starting. This means that there is no other data in the chart for the scales to be based on, so the scales could be a bit odd until you have some data built up in the chart. Give the replay some time to add some data to the first bar and then see how the scale is relative to that and adjust as needed.

Although, you are best served to not try to start a replay at a time before the data that is loaded in the chart. If you want to start a replay on January 3, 2026, then you need to ensure that you have data already in the chart going back that far BEFORE you start the replay.
