Issue with using rithmic for trading, and denali for data.

Hi Sierra Chart Support Team,

I’m currently experiencing issues with my Sierra Chart setup using my Topstep-funded Rithmic account and the Denali CME data feed. Here’s a summary of what’s happening:

I have activated the Denali CME data feed on my Sierra Chart account, and my billing page shows the feed is active with the $13/month charge.

However, the account verification status still shows as unverified or expired on the Sierra Chart website.

In Sierra Chart, when I try to load charts for symbols like ESU5.CME, I get error messages such as:
“Historical intraday data download failed” and “Permission denied.”

I have entered my Rithmic Trading Username and Password in Sierra Chart, but I have cleared any Market Data and Historical Data usernames/passwords as per instructions to avoid conflicts.

I have also tried using Denali data feed for market data while keeping Rithmic for trade routing, but the permission errors persist.

I have accepted all agreements required via Rithmic’s R-Trader platform.

The “Download historical data for current selected service when possible” option does not seem to be present in my Sierra Chart settings.

I have checked and followed the Sierra Chart troubleshooting guide related to Rithmic “permission denied” errors, but the issue remains unresolved.

I would appreciate your help to verify my account properly and get the data feed working without permission errors so I can see charts and trade without problems. My main goal here is to use fully denali data, and just Rithmic for traderouting. If someone can help my account get verified so I can actually see the charts this would be a great help.

With regards to the "Permission Denied" error, that comes from Rithmic. Everything we know about how to get around that issue is contained within the documentation you referenced.

Note that the "Permission Denied" error is a Rithmic issue. We can not fix it, as the interface between Sierra Chart and Rithmic is owned by Rithmic. They need to resolve this. We have told them about it many times, but they still have not taken care of it.

With regards to the data, as you state, your "Verified Until" date is showing as "0000-00-00". And since you activated a "Non-Professional" exchange, you can not get the real-time data as the "Verified Until" date needs to be in the future. You need to connect your Sierra Chart to your live, funded, futures trading account in order to update the "Verified Until" date to 30 days in the future. Refer to the following:

We also see that you did not fill out the Exchange Agreements properly, as you did not enter a Clearing Firm for your personal trading account. Prop Firms do not count towards the requirement for the CME Group. You can redo these at the following link:
