Hi, Currently on the Trade DOM it is highlighting both -Trade DOM Last Traded Recent Bid Volume Background -Trade DOM Last Traded Recent Ask Volume Background (Attached: SC DOM) Very frequently the Last traded recent can be a Bid trade, with it being higher than the Last traded recent ask trade. So that causes some sort of visual discrepancies. Is there a way to make it show ONLY the Last Traded Recent Bid OR Ask Volume Background? (Attached: DOM) This is from Quantower. |

If you only want to see the most recently traded side, then set the following option to "No": Global Trade Settings Windows: Display Both Last Traded Recent Bid and Ask Background (Global Settings >> Chart DOM Settings >> Other >> Other Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I have set the option to "No". But now it does not show any background. |

You still need to have the graphics options enabled for this to work. It just will only show the last traded side.

What are the columns where you want to view this information? If you set the option for "Display Both Last Traded Recent Bid and Ask Background" to "Yes", do the backgrounds show up again for both columns? I just want Either Last traded recent BID or Last traded recent ASK background to show up, not both. 'If you set the option for "Display Both Last Traded Recent Bid and Ask Background" to "Yes", do the backgrounds show up again for both columns?' Yes the backgrounds show up again for both columns. |

We understand this. And the option we gave you should work for this. It does not make any sense that you are not seeing anything when you set the option to "No", which is what we are trying to figure out. Attached are two images. One that shows both items highlighted, as the option for "Display Last Traded Recent Bid and Ask Background" set to "Yes". The other shows that option set to "No" and only one side highlighted (whichever side was last traded). So we do not know how you are not seeing the one highlight. If the option is set to "No", you have both the graphics settings enabled, and you have the correct columns displayed, then you should be seeing the background highlighted on one side. Please get us your chart and your Sierra4.config file so we can take a look at what is occurring. The Sierra4.config file is located in your main Sierra Chart installation folder. Attached is the Sierra4.config file and the chartbook. Due to liquidity the price I had the settings of compressing 4ticks into 1. Not sure if this information helps. |

Everything works fine for us with your chart and it is doing exactly what we expect. Attached are two images. The one named "Initial.png" is what we see when we opened your chartbook (we did have to change the symbol, so that is the one difference). In this case, both the Last Traded Bid and Last Traded Ask are highlighted. We then set the option for "Trade >> Chart DOM Settings >> Display Both Last Traded Recent Bid and Ask Background" to "No" and got just one side highlighted. This is reflected in the image named "AfterSettingChange.png". So we do not understand what could be occurring on your system to be causing this. If you are still having an issue, then please get us two images as we have done. One before you change the setting and one after. Attached is mine after changing to SC data, Switching symbol, adjusted back to single tick. Still not working. Could it be the global settings? Btw can you make the attachment you posted private? It contains private data. |

Lol hey I found the solution Need to go to "Chart Settings" -> "Market Depth" -> "Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks" Value change from 1 to 0 and back to 1. This sort of toggles the Last traded recent bid or ask background settings. |

We are glad you found a solution, although we do not know why this would be the case. We were working with a Combine Increment in Ticks of 4.
