Hi Sierra Chart Support,

I hope you’re well.

I’m currently running Sierra Chart on my Mac using Parallels to emulate Windows. I’ve recently purchased Service Package 11 to access order flow tools such as footprint charts, specifically for trading and simulating the S&P 500 (ES) futures.

However, I’m having difficulty getting access to live data. I do not have a live trading account, and I understand that this disqualifies me from receiving CME data at the non-professional rate. I was wondering what alternative options are available to still access live or near-live data—ideally without paying the full professional rate (around $110/month), as that’s currently not feasible for me.

Additionally, I noticed I downloaded and installed the SierraChart_ARM64 version rather than the standard .exe version. I heard this may potentially cause issues with receiving live data, so I’d really appreciate some clarification on whether this could be contributing to the problem or if I should re-install using a different version.

Could you please advise on:
  1.  The best way to access live or delayed streaming data without a live trading account.
  2.  Whether the ARM64 version is compatible with live data feeds or if I should install the standard .exe version instead.

Thanks in advance for your help—looking forward to your guidance.

Kind regards,
Corey Tonner

1. You have access to the delayed streaming data and you should be getting that data now. The data is 10 to 15 minutes delayed depending on exchange.

Keep in mind the requirement to have a live, funded, futures trading account is only for the CME Group. If you are wanting data for another exchange then this requirement does not exist.

If the delayed streaming data is too delayed for you and you are wanting real-time data for the CME Group, then the only other option is to pay for the Professional exchange.

Hopefully you have already looked at the following, but just in case - refer to the following for an easy solution to having a live, funded, futures trading account:

2. There should not be any issue with the ARM64 version.

You should have both the ARM64 and non-ARM executables installed on your computer. There is not a special installer for it. Refer to the following:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
