Have to reopen this. Still freezing, lagging , wont downlaod either data nort update. Nor will it rollback There is a problem, An I need someone to help me on this. Tried by removing all tick data, using only second data, removed MNQ futures and only tried NQ and ES and only for standrad out of box data spans. Nothng, AM sitting here for an hour an it wont downlaod one chart. Here is the log. I have no clue what to do. That is not the issue. Two days ago I was told to delete all files espcially some of the Micro Emini SCID data files as those had an error in them. Today its NQ SCID data files thats got an error in it. The system loses conenction with SC server, or SC server refuses conection, its drops - reconnects and that is creating erros in data files. At teh moment I am rolling back to Version 2628, and deleting ALL files again, and every setting and data file, and will relaod ALL files with V2628 and report again tomorrow. Have tested for speed, ping, jitter and packet loss - no issues. Also, Trading view is able to keep up with realtime feed for all symbols that run concurrently (ES, NQ the micros) on browser. No issues downloading any other files, or streaming HD media. Nevertheless, deployed a Windows process optimization routine to prioritise SC (which lready runs on a dedicated new SSD) with almost no other loads during SC usage on 64GB RAM and and barely any CPU or memory usage. Update: None of the tweaks helped, moving to diffrernt SSD did not help. Noticed: system and SC time gap. Plus Winsock Error 10053 (which appears to be disruption to TCP/IP comms). Fixes = 1. Allowed SC as an exception in Firewall and Windows Security 2. Installed and run Process Lasso optimsing and elevating SC Priorty and affinity (assign 4 P=cores exclusively to SC) 3. Uncheck the "Set Time automatically" Option in W11 4. Force SC to set system time (via Gloabl Settings -> "Set System Time Date from Server" 5. Run MS-CMD as admin. Flush IPCONFIG 6. Reset Winsock 7. Restart system So far , so good.

THank you, Since my last post - I did not have enough sample time to give you feedback, I ran the system from 1PM NYC to close on Friday and did not see aything. But come Monday could be another issue. I will change the SC server as mentioned rather than VPN and update by EOD Monday. As an aside I did get the True Fbre tech come and check the 1Gig Modem, he did find some issues with it and will be replacing it next week as well.

I have NOT seen lags or freeezing yesterday, or today. So far, But if you are doing something with AIS Thailand ISP (with Cogent), please also add True Gigatex Thailand as well. THanks, will update if anything is seen.

The problem is back, using DS13 server now. It was okay for a few days. And today its back. Tried with a VPN, worked for a bit, and happened again. Please advise a solution. Locking up with live trades on, is extremely risky/ THanks Currently exploring Non sierra options with CQG and Rithmic

The only reasonable thing that we can do, which may, but not necessarily help with this, is using a different ISP for our market data feeds. We are currently using Cogent and we will be adding another ISP (which actually uses multiple providers including Lumen), in about three weeks. This may or may not help. Perhaps it does help at times, but other times it will not help. Based upon what you are saying, it seems like you still may have a problem at times. There is a connectivity issue somewhere. And changing the ISP on our side which might alter the path, is not necessarily going to help. Even if we were to set up a server, somewhere in Asia and use a high-quality connection back to the US, you can still have a problem. As a matter of policy we would not do that, because we have no presence of people in that area and cannot properly maintain equipment.
