Hello,

I'm using the function FISHER and tried =FISHER(E3) and FISHER(E3:12), with column E being close prices but it's returning #VALUE!

What am I doing wrong?

The FISHER function takes a single number value for an argument, so the following should be fine:
=FISHER(E3)

As long as E3 is a value between -1 and 1. Refer to the following:

I apologize I misread the documentation and thought it would return -1 and 1. I'm using close prices
