I am a long term GFDL user with different platforms and never encountered problems you mentioned, so maybe it's time to dump your poor pathetic platform and stop blaming data feed vendors.

The explanation for this most likely is that this other program is using the standard Global Data Feeds API which uses an in-process API component which we do not support:

Sierra Chart use the Global Data Feeds FIX connection and apparently this is where the problem is. We cannot say with certainty whether the problem is with the FIX connection or some network issue. But it is not with Sierra Chart.
