Cannot Download Historical Data for ES500 Beyond 6 Months

I need some help. I have Sierra Chart Package 11 activated, and I'm using the Denali Data Feed. All agreements are signed, and I’m properly connected through AMP Futures using the Teton Order Routing Service. However, I’m experiencing an issue: I cannot download historical data for ES500 (E-mini S&P 500) going back more than 6 months. I’ve tried different chart settings, symbol settings, and connection checks, but I’m still limited to roughly half a year of data. Even when I go to Data/Trade Service Settings and re-select Denali Data Feed, the problem persists — no additional history is downloaded. Can someone please explain what I might be doing wrong or what I’m missing in the configuration? I assumed Denali provides full historical data for futures. Thanks in advance for your help! |

Futures contracts have limited lives, so there is a start and an end. If you are not using a Continuous Futures contract then what you are seeing is due to that limited lifetime. I just wanted to say that I feel a bit silly now — turns out the issue was on my side. I completely forgot to switch the chart symbol to a continuous contract. That’s why I was only seeing a few months of historical data. Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction — I really appreciate the help and patience! Best regards, Marek |
