I have three charts linked by Link Number under Chart Settings. Two of them I have linked with the Vertical Scale option, but not the third one. For the two linked with the Vertical Scale option everything seems to work fine if I double click in the Price Scale to recenter them, it just recenters those two charts, but if I double click in the price scale of the third chart to recenter that one, it compresses the scale of the other two that are linked with the vertical scale, even though the third chart does not have that linking option selected. For the two linked charts I'm using the Constant Range option for the Scale Range, but the third chart I use Automatic range, and the range on that chart tends to be larger because it's a larger time frame chart, so it seems to squish/compress the other two charts. I'm honestly not sure if this is a new issue specific to v2752 or not as I was just experimenting with linking these charts this morning, but I don't recall ever having this issue in the past with other linked charts. I just unlinked that third chart for the time being, and this isn't a high priority at all, so really I just wanted to bring it to your attention as an issue I noticed. Please let me know if you need any other info from me. Thank you for your help.

What you are seeing is how the Linking works. If the charts share the same link number, then, by default, a change to a chart that does not have a link option enabled will affect the other charts that do have that link option. In this case, you need to enable the option for "Master Mode" on the third chart that does not share the "Vertical Scale" link option. Refer to the following for further explanation: Chart Settings: Chart Linking >> Master Mode (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Linking menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
