I’m running two separate instances of Sierra Chart on the same PC: • One with TT order routing • One with CQG order routing Both instances are configured for live trading—Trade Simulation Mode is not enabled in either of them, and “Trading is Locked” is also not active. However, today when a trade signal occurred in the CQG instance, I received the following error in the Trade Service Log ( I have also attached screenshot of the error ): “Trade simulation mode is ON, so action is ignored.” This is confusing because: • The CQG instance was set to live mode. • The TT instance also has no simulation or lock enabled. • Both were functioning independently with their own data feeds and order routing. Can you help me understand why this error occurred even though Simulation Mode was off? Is there any cross-instance interference or hidden setting that might be triggering this? |

Read the error message again, it doesn't say "Trade simulation mode is ON, so action is ignored.” It says "SendOrdersToTradeService is not consistent with Trade Simulation Mode On setting", followed by "SendOrdersToTradeService=0" and "TradeSimulationModeOn=0" SendOrdersToTradeService needs to be set to 1 for order to be sent to an external service. |
