Good morning, This morning when I launched Sierra Chart, I encountered an unusual issue where the displayed Bid and Ask lines on my chart would significantly widen as the market moved up or down. I have attached a screenshot of a simple candle chart with the Bid/Ask lines clearly showing the widened spread: Screenshot 1: https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1740131181158.png To determine whether this was just a visual glitch, I placed simultaneous Buy and Sell market orders on a separate chart within a different instance of Sierra Chart. As shown in the second screenshot, the orders were indeed placed at the same wide Bid/Ask levels displayed in the first instance. You can also see that the Combined Bid/Ask Size column on the DOM has a gap corresponding to the wide spread. Screenshot 2: https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1740131629119.png Interestingly, my main Trading DOM seemed to show correct "Recent Bid/Ask data", and I could see other orders filling within the “gap” that appeared on the problematic chart. I should point out that the Bid/Ask Size columns on the Trading DOM were also showing incorrectly. After closing Sierra Chart and reopening around 4:20 AM (as seen on the chart), the Bid/Ask lines converged again, but the earlier anomaly remained visible on the chart, even after selecting Edit > Reload and Recalculate, Edit > Reload Intraday Charts and Edit > Recalculate All Charts. Furthermore, when replaying the chart, I can recreate the entire event exactly as it occurred. Thank you for looking into this. If you need any additional information, please let me know. When replaying the chart, I can recreate the whole event as it happened. I have recorded the events for both of the charts if you care to see. I can include those as well if you wish. |
