I want to creat a horizontal bar graph on each tick price of a candlestick . On each tick level, if I got a positive calculation (eg bid Volume - Ask Volume) on a tick level the bar would be green. If I get a negative calculation the bar would be red. These horizontal histogram length or size would be relative.

Not a 100% sure what you're asking (sounds like a delta profile?). If that's the case just use Volume by Price. You can also get this done with Numbers Bars and the VbP Threshold Alert v2.

Yes a delta profile but a want a delta profile that use diagonal Bid Volume and Ask Volume differences. ( using actual volume not percentage). The only reason why the volume by price does not work is that it is time based. I use range chart. The Numbers Bars support delta profile on Range chart the only problem is that it does not support diagonal Ask Volume Bid Volume difference difference (using actual volume ) |

You can base the profile on bar count and use 1 bar. Volume By Price Study: Multiple Profiles Based on Bar Count |

Like mentioned above. VbP is not based on time. Works on any bar. Also, Volume Bar Calculation allows Ask Volume - Bid Volume. Pair that with Diagonal Difference of Bid Ask Volume for Bar Coloring. Those are actual volume, not percentage. With Numbers Bars, you just choose Volume Profile as Background, for Background Coloring, you choose Based on Diagonal AskVol BidVol Difference - Actual (better way to do it if you only want to see the profile with coloring at each price). Image is what it looks like using Numbers Bars. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-01-23 16:11:05

Thank you that exactly what I want . One last thing, on a Numbers Bar there is a feature which may be turned on. If turned on, the relative length of each bar(each horizontal bar in a profile) would be based on all visible bars in the chart. How can I get this feature to work on a Vbp?

Not completely sure what you mean. On VbP, you control the width of the profiles with these settings: Max Volume Bar Width Type Max Volume Bar Width Percentage |
