Like mentioned above. VbP is not based on time. Works on any bar. Also, Volume Bar Calculation allows Ask Volume - Bid Volume. Pair that with Diagonal Difference of Bid Ask Volume for Bar Coloring. Those are actual volume, not percentage. With Numbers Bars, you just choose Volume Profile as Background, for Background Coloring, you choose Based on Diagonal AskVol BidVol Difference - Actual (better way to do it if you only want to see the profile with coloring at each price).
