hi,

I just formated my PC and loaded XP on it,

however, when I click on SC desktop icon (after a fresh install today) I get a popup window titled "Unable to locate component" and it says:

"This application has failed to start because MSVCR100.dll was not found..."

Reinstalling doesnt help.

Advice please.

Thank you

Therefore, what you need to do is install the version with "New Spreadsheets":

Ok,thanks, this one did start

I hope it will work with all my old spreadsheets that I have running in the background...

Is there a file that can copy me all my global settings (like font size on quote board, global chart colors, toolbar settings etc.)? I have another instance of SC on another laptop, that's why I am asking

Thank you

If you are using spreadsheets, then you need to install the version of Sierra Chart that supports the "Old Spreadsheets". You can find it on the Software Download page:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php

To solve the start of problem you will need to install .NET 4 on your XP system.

You can copy your settings from another installation of Sierra Chart:
