i have followed the procedures here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#CopyChartDrawingsfromChart

destination chart >>Chart Settings>>Advanced 2 is set to copy drawings from Chartbook2:3
but nothing is showing. both chartboks are open, and both charts have same symbol.

please advise

working fine here (sc prerelease 1189). have a look at the attached screenshot.

three things that come to my mind, why it's not working for you:
1. in the destination chart, in the field "Copy Chart Drawings for Different Chart #'s" you only put the source chart(s)
2. above your using the syntax "2:3". this should be "2,3"! with chart #2 and chart #3 both being source charts.
3. e.g. the drawings come from a weekly or daily chart and you want to see them on a 5 minute chart. => you might have to adjust your vertical scale on the destination chart to see the drawings from higher timeframes!?

The reason they are using: Chartbook2:3 is because they want to copy drawings from another Chartbook.

Probably the first thing to do is to make sure you can copy drawings from within the same Chartbook. And make sure the name of the Chartbook is correct.
