NQ Painstakingly Slow When Building Charts / Same Charts as the much Faster ES???

Why is the NQ so much slower when building charts than the ES? Even after turning off the data? I've reduced the resolution on the Volume Profile charts to 6 for the NQ where the ES are set at 3. Otherwise, all the studies are exactly the same. If I make any change to an NQ chart it is painstakingly slow... i.e. just selecting the menu bar takes minutes compared to an instant with the ES. Please advise, thank you very much!

We can not say for sure, but one of things that would cause something like this is the use of Transparency. Make sure you do not have something transparent on the NQ chart that is not set that way on the ES.
