Hi all,

Since the v2661 update, the message log disappears out of view when I try to review old messages.
This happens every price update on the charts, which makes viewing the message log difficult.
Anyone else has the same problem?

Kind regards.

If your Message Log is opening off-screen, then select Window >> Reset Windows. Refer to the following:
Window, CB and CW Menus: Reset Windows (Window)

If this is something else, then we need more information on exactly what is occurring.

Hi John, thank you for your reply!

It is something else.

When I have set the message log window to maximize, it covers the entire screen. Then when a new message appears, the window will go back by itself to the "restore down" size.

If you need more information, please let me know.

There are two types of messages that can be written to the log. Some are general information and some are critical. The critical items will have an asterisk (*) after the message. These critical messages are set to open the Message Log when they are sent to the log to ensure that the user sees them.

Are you having this issue with any message to the log at all, or just with critical ones that have the asterisk?

Okay, then it is probably the critical messages, because I get them a lot.
(every few seconds, suggesting me that I need to recompile a custom study).

But then it minimizes the window, instead of keeping it the same size or maximize it.

Make sure the main Sierra Chart window is also in a restored or maximized state and not minimized.

Unfortunately no solution either.
