Hello, I have a question regarding an error using keyboard shortcuts. When an order is filled, and i move my stoploss to the current price by keyboard, i get an error message: (see attachment) This error only occurs on live trades (Topstep/Rithmic), not in simulation. To move the stoploss i use Trading Keyboard Shortcuts => Stop Order Tick up (numpad +) and Stop Order Tick down (numpad -) What can cause this error? Thx.... |

The messages you are getting are stating that the order modification is not going through as the price to which the order is to be changed to is the same as the current price of that order, so nothing needs to be done. The one thing that is confusing to us is that there is a statement in that log that says "Stopping Trail Order Modification...". Which implies that the Stop order is setup as a Trailing Stop. Sorry, above error description is not correct.... The error messages occur when moving an unfilled limit order closer to target with a keyboard shortcut.... (In Simulation and/or moving order by mouse there are no errors) A normal stoporder is used, no trailing stop. See new screenshot with order, order settings, keyboard shortcut settings and error log. |

We think the problem is that you are quickly modifying the order and not allowing the prior modification to complete. If you were to wait until the Status of the order is Open and then modify the order and wait for it to complete there should not be a problem.
