There was a problem in version 1180 causing this. It has now been resolved. Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Prerelease.

can I use "old spreadsheets"? because I just did that and still get 1180 and the same error.

Update Sierra Chart again and you will get 1181. You should not see the problem any longer.
