Attempted to update from version 2621 to Current Version 2624 and receive message "Maximum number of retries encountered" Refer to log. Download cancelled. Press "install" to retry. Retried a few times without success.

If you are running Sierra Chart in an emulator, then you will need to use the Zip installer. Refer to the following:
Software Download: Sierra Chart Zip Installer

You can use the Zip Installer in any case, but we would like to see the log if you are running a native Windows system. Please try the install again if it fails, select the button at the top for "Send Log to Support" and then post here and let us know that you have sent the log and we will take a look.

We do apologize, but for some reason the log is not coming to us.

Can you take an image of the log screen after you try again. Be sure to scroll up and see if there is another error. The error of "Maximum Number of Retries Encountered" can come up if the installer is sitting after it finished the installation properly. So there is probably some other error above that is causing the issue, but we need to know what it states.

Another alternative is to use the "Zip Installer" instead. Refer to the following:

My apologies John for my inexperience as I'm not sure how to accomplish that. I read the "Attaching Screenshot/Image" though I followed the directions to no avail.

Good morning John, issue has been resolved. After numerous attempts it was determined that the virus protector was blocking the update even though was showing it wasn't. Uninstalled the particular virus protector and now SC 2625 installed and working like a charm. To test if fully resolved reinstalled 2621 then uploaded back to 2625 and now working like a charm. Thanks for your patience and support.
