This does not make any sense. Simulation mode can not have a problem. What exactly is occurring when you have Simulation Mode On? What are you doing and what is occurring?

hello support: Mr. John

I place a bracket short order with a stop loss order.

The short trade gets filled correctly.

But the stop order to cover the short does not get filled.
The price passes through the stop order line and keeps going up without filling the stop order.

Then I use "flatten and cancel" to fill the stop order and it fills at the current price which is above and beyond the stop order price.

I have not tried a trade going long. Thank you.

Please reproduce this using the Replay feature and take an image of what you are seeing when this occurs and then get us that image for us to see what is occurring. Refer to the following for how to get us an image:

Hello Support: Mr John

I tested the trading in Sim Mode this morning and it is working fine with no problems.

Also, in real-time trading, orders submitted with the Sierra Charts do not appear on the IB Dashboard.

Therefore there seems to be a communication issue between IB and Sierra Charts regarding my account. I do not understand this and
I need your help with this. Thank you.

Make sure you are properly connected to your Interactive Brokers account by going through the Setup Instructions at the following link:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

Then, make sure that you are not in Simulation Mode by ensuring that the option for "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" does NOT have a checkmark next to it.

Then try to submit an order to Interactive Brokers and if it does not work properly, then open your "Trade >> Trade Service Log" and post the contents of that log to this thread for us to review.
