Not all accounts at Interactive Brokers are visible

Hello,

I can connect to Interactive Brokers and charts are displaying data however, only one account is visible and it does not let me add a new account from Trade Account Monitor window as duplicate account option along with other options in Manage" menu are disabled.

How can I add desired account from IBKR ?

You cannot. All of the available trading accounts are provided through the TWS API. So if you do not see the others, they are not being provided from TWS.

Hello,

I can see all accounts from IBKR in the Sierracharts Accounts drop-down in the Trade window attached to DOM and Charts. However, I cannot see a few accounts in the Trade Account Monitor window. I cannot see the account balance.
What's the reason for this? This does not seem an IBKR issue. There should be some setting I am missing. Global and Local Simulation mode is off and I tried re-connecting to the data service but did not help. Please let me know.

The Trade Account Monitor is filled in from a different message from TWS: ACCT_VALUE. There is no setting that will change what you see. If the AccountValueType fields is Cash Balance or Available Funds, then it will be included in the Trade Account Monitor.

There is no setting which can change how this works.

The list box of Trade Accounts in the Trade Window is filled in with the list of accounts provided from TWS.

Hello,

Account balance of the IBKR account in question works fine in Jigsaw a similar platform . I doubt that there is any issue with IBKR. Can you double check your platform config ?

You are showing all accounts in the Trade window as an option to select those in question for trading, but the account is not even visible in trade positions or trade account windows. Jigsaw's having no issue with the account balance, which tells you nothing unusual. It's an IRA account and is perfectly fine for futures trading.

So the account IS showing in the Trade Window?

Have you done any trades with this account through Sierra Chart yet?

As to the greyed out options, those are for when you are using our "Simulated Futures Trading Service", as you can modify your account information through that interface. Since you are connected to IB, those options are not available.

I changed the index number in Global settings - Data Trade Service settings - Account Index for subscriber to Positions from 0 to 1 .

Thank you for responding. I made the change you did. Now I only see my taxable account and my retirement account has disappeared.Drop down menu on the chart still shows both.

If you are referring to the Trade Account Monitor, Interactive Brokers only provides account updates for a single account. Not multiple.

Any broker must support all accounts, and one can choose which account one wants to trade with. Do you have any problem with this type of feature?
